New Productivity Record Achieved

On 27th January 2009 London Thamesport achieved a new productivity record on the LT Cortesia, with a total of 1475 moves and an Overall Shipside Rate of 114.72 moves per hour. An excellent average individual crane rate of 26.05 moves per hour was also achieved across the vessel.

The performance highlights the ability of London Thamesport to turn vessels around quickly and to meet the exacting performance standards required by its container line customers.

London Thamesport - Road Haulier Identity System (RHIDES)

Following a successful phase in period during which the bulk of drivers using London Thamesport have been issued with RHIDES cards, we would like to remind all our customers that the RHIDES driver identity card system at the Port will be implemented with full effect from Monday 1st June 2009.

In order to minimise any unnecessary delays for hauliers, any drivers who have still not been issued with a RHIDES card, will have to obtain one via their haulage company registering the details on the RHIDES
website: www.rhides.com/register.

Reminders will be displayed around the Port and via this website.

If you require any further information on the use of RHIDES at London Thamesport, please contact Tony Gray Tel No 01634 273596.
